"Stronger than faith" tour

Suicide Silence have announced dates for their ‘Stronger Than Faith’ tour with Emmure, Within The Ruins and Fit For An Autopsy. The outing will kick off Feb. 17 in Santa Cruz, Calif. and wrap on March 25th in Tucson, Ariz.

“We had an amazing time this last fall on tour and now it is time to really bring the fire on our first US headlining tour of 2015,” Suicide Silence vocalist Eddie Hermida says. “We are bringing our good friends in Emmure, Within The Ruins and Fit For An Autopsy out this time so be ready for an ass whoopin’ you won’t be able to cry home to your mom about! Come early and hang out with us this spring on the ‘Stronger Than Faith’ tour!”

On the show with us this week we’ve got Suicide Silence singer Eddie Hermida talking about the new album ‘You Can’t Stop Me.’ Eddie, gotta ask, what do you love even more about this band compared to before when you weren’t a member of it?

Eddie Hermidas interview for You Can't Stop Me

It’s been a whirlwind year for Suicide Silence‘s Eddie Hermida, who made a highly publicized move from All Shall Perish to Suicide Silence in the aftermath of frontman Mitch Lucker‘s 2012 death. The band is off to a solid start with Hermida at the helm of their ‘You Can’t Stop Me’ album, a disc that pays proper respect to Lucker while also laying the groundwork for the band’s future.

Loudwirespoke with Hermida at the opening day of the 2014 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and the frontman spoke about playing this summer’s run, what it’s been like joining the band and recording the ‘You Can’t Stop Me’ album and the highly entertaining ‘You Can’t Stop Me’ video.

You Cant Stop Me album review

Suicide Silence have been one of the more successful deathcore bands, growing their fan base and profile with each album. 2011‘s ‘The Black Crown’ was their most successful so far, debuting at No. 28 on the Billboard 200 and landing the band on several high-profile tours.

The metal world was stunned to learn of frontman Mitch Lucker’s death following a motorcycle accident in November of 2012. He was just 28 years old.

After this devastating tragedy, the band decided to carry on, and brought aboard their friend Eddie Hermida from All Shall Perish as the band’s new vocalist. Hermida makes his recording debut for Suicide Silence on their latest album ‘You Can’t Stop Me’ The title track includes lyrics written by Lucker.
